INFECTIONS!

Here are a few ways of cleaning a windows XP machine (or other) of viruses.
These tools will work granted you can even boot into windows at all.

If you can't get into windows (the Desktop) you will need to then try Safe mode. You can enter Safe mode by pressing the F8 key after you see the initial boot screen. After that you will get a Windows Advanced Options Menu. Make sure you shoose Safe Mode with networking becuase you are going to have to update the antimalware software before you scan.

1:Malwarebytes

The first thing you should do is download and run Malwarebytes. This software is very good at removing most malware out there.

2:SuperAntiSpyware

After Malwarebytes you should use this one. It is just as good as Malwarebytes maybe better because it has a portable version that lets you get around the pesky .EXE killing malware.

!Congratulations!

At this point you should now be clean of the most common malware out there.

3:Combofix

*Warning*

Going any further can make it worse. Just take it to an IT shop.

This is combofix it is very powerfull software that should only be run in safe mode. I have to warn you that this software has the ability to ruin your windows installation. I recommend at this point you just take your computer to a reputable IT shop.
